Kelly MacDonald, owner of MacDonald & Associates, is a certified public accountant and graduated with honors from the University of Montana earning a BS in Accounting and an MBA. She has 18 years of professional accounting experience - nearly all in either the construction, real estate development, or manufacturing industry and is a member of the Washington State Board of Accounting and the American Society of Certified Public Accountants. As the daughter of a general contractor, Kelly is passionate about the construction and real estate industries and personally familiar with the construction industry culture, the risks, and rewards. She has seen the boom/bust cycles and has a realistic approach to managing through the inevitable business cycles.
Since moving to Seattle in 1997, Kelly’s first 10 ten years in the Puget Sound were spent in public accounting with Deloitte and Touché and Moss Adams and as the CFO of a manufacturing company. She was nominated and was a finalist for the CFO of the Year for the Puget Sound in 2006.
MacDonald & Associates began working with Brock Smith in 2008.
